CLAY BAR

Auto Detailing clay bars clean paint better than washing alone and is the safest and most effective way to remove dirt embedded within the clear coat!

Detailing clay bars clean paint below the surface. Some contaminants grip, even penetrate the clear coat. Detailing clay safely removes these contaminants from the paint and leaves your vehicle feeling slick and smooth. There’s no need to compound to remove overspray, bugs, or tar – detailing clay removes it all!

Claying is a process that is new to the world of automotive detailing and has found enthusiastic acceptance. It's not hard to understand why, as its resume reads like a miracle cure, and after reading it you may think that it's too good to be true. But claying delivers effective results, each and every time.

It performs its function by removing the contaminants from the surface of the paint. It works by virtue of its flexibility as it easily forms the exact contour of the surface it is in contact with. What it does for a painted surface is similar to the function of polish, but unlike polish, clay is not an abrasive. This is an advantage for the beginning or casual detailer, as no harm can be done to the paint. Claying also does not remove wax, so unlike polish, there is no need to reapply it after an application. It works on surfaces that might not be appropriate for polish, such as glass, bright work and trim items. Claying is clearly a winning solution all around!

HEADLAMP RESTORATION

Headlights don’t get the credit they deserve. They are the eyes of your vehicle. They allow you to see at night and be seen by other motorists. Without them, you’d be blind. That’s why keeping your headlights clean and clear is so important. Clear headlight lenses increase your safety and they improve the overall appearance of your vehicle. What good is detailing your vehicle if you’re going to leave the lenses yellow and cloudy?

The good news about headlight lenses is that they are correctable. Cars were originally built with glass headlights that were easily broken. Most vehicles built since 1990 have polycarbonate lenses. This is a type of clear plastic that bounces back from considerable impact, making it an ideal choice for the front of a vehicle. The problem with polycarbonate is its tendency to yellow and cloud over time as a result of UV exposure. Fortunately, a number of products have been formulated to remove this haze and clarify damaged lenses with minimal cost and effort. In most cases, replacement can be avoided using head lamp restoration techniques and products.

WAXING

Applying car wax regularly will extend the life and beauty of your vehicle’s paint finish. Waxes shield your vehicle from the harmful UV rays of the sun, environmental pollution, and moisture plus your vehicle will look fantastic all year round with regular maintenance. Regular maintenance will preserve your paint and it s color from fading. A perfect complimentary solution is claying prior to waxing your vehicle. The two processes together are the perfect compliment to each other. While claying rids your paint of any defects and impediments beneath its surface, it creates the perfect finish for applying wax.

COMPOUNDING

Compounding is a true Heavy Hitter! It cuts fast and deep to remove the problem for good. Can be hand or machine applied which depends on the degree of the problem. Rubbing compounds contain a heavy duty cutting agent specially formulated to remove light surface scratches, spider veins and swirls. Great for oxidation and dull paint as well as heavier swirl marks on all colors. This highly effective product leaves no residue and leaves the surface clean and dry to the touch.

POLISHING

The DeWalt 849 Variable Speed Polisher has been around for several years and, in many ways, set the standard for professional grade polishers. This powerful circular polisher is built to last and performs with ease and precision. It is by standard that we use the most effective machinery when polishing paint surfaces.

Many people assume that polishing and waxing are the same. But, the two are different processes. Properly cleaning and polishing makes a world of difference to the outcome and gloss duration of the paint. Waxing over surfaces that need polishing or compounding will only create a temporary gloss. Polishing actually deep cleans the paint by removing oxidation, scratches, spotting, old wax, swirl marks, and other minor paint defects. Polishes work with abrasives and/or chemical cleaners to flatten, or level, the surface. Waxing with waxes, polymers, and/or paint sealants provide an extra level of paint protection while yielding a high gloss finish.
